Coast to Coast in a Day 2024
Join me on a big, supported 1 day adventure. Maximum of 6 riders per trip, route notes and computer files provided. Please note, these are not signed or marshalled rides. You will need to be somewhat self sufficient but will still be met by a minibus every 40 to 50 km or so for drinks and snacks to keep you fuelled. Spare clothing can also be carried in the bus. Lights might be needed!
Free transport back to the start if needed or arrange your own.

Routes available from 160 to 200 plus km - 100 to 125 plus miles
Classic - Morecambe to Whitby - alternate start from Glasson Dock or Arnside, alternate finish Saltburn or Robin Hoods Bay
The Bigger One - Seascale to Whitby - includes Wrynose and Hardknott passes for those who like this sort of thing
Either of these 2 routes could be super sized with the addition of Buttertubs, and even Tan Hill for the brave and fearless
The Even Slightly Bigger One - Silloth to Flamborough Head- East coast to West with the climb up to Tan Hill thrown in for good measure, 330 epic km

Bragging rights for this one. From the West Coast to the East, and back again, in a Day. 330 km with 2900 m or so of climbing.
Silloth by the Sea to Creswell-by-the-Sea, then back to Silloth. Different route out and back apart from common 20 km on Eastern side, Minibus support, met every 50 km or so with drinks and snacks provided.
Ideal as a tester if you're thinking of heading off to Euroland to do one of the big 300 km plus Sportives over there.
